Better Through Fitness & Education

Armor Athletics has been proudly serving the South Tacoma area since 2010. We're home to CrossFit South Tacoma, with a full-service approach and many classes to fit your needs.

We are independently owned and operated, led by Owner Kathryn Taylor — a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer, USAW Level 1 coach, and Adaptive & Inclusive Trainer. Our mission is simple: to better our community through education and fitness.

Our Coaching

Armor coaches are dedicated to helping you safely and effectively accomplish your goals. Each has completed an extensive internship and passed our coaching evaluation process.

Our Community

Armor members are committed to improving themselves and encouraging others. We're a diverse community of small business owners, military, parents, doctors, firefighters, retirees, and athletes.

The Difference

Coaching Built for Every Body

Four of our coaches hold the Adaptive & Inclusive Trainer certification — training most gyms don't have. Combined with our On-Ramp program for every new member, it means we can scale any workout to any age, injury history, or starting point. Every Armor coach also completes an extensive internship and coaching evaluation before leading a class on their own.
