Franky Rodriguez
Franky is one of our newer members and has already had great improvements since joining Armor. He’s both gained strength, puts more weight on the barbell, and improved his cardio. Franky’s been consistent and has put in hard work in every workout! He’s been a great addition to our community and we’re lucky to have him here!
1) How long have you been a member at Armor Athletics and what do you like the most about the gym?
I’ve been going to the gym for 2 months now. Two things I like most about the gym are the great & friendly people there and the fantastic breakdown of proper technique for the exercises.
2)What’s your favorite type of workout?
My favorite type of workout is the one I don’t want to do lol It’s hard to get better if you only keep doing the exercises & workouts you like.
3) What type of activities do you enjoy doing when you’re not at Armor?
My wife & I are competitive gamers. We currently split time between World of Warcraft & Final Fantasy XIV. I also play a trading card game called Magic: The Gathering at the professional level.
4) Always have to do 20 lunges before walking anywhere or always do 10 pull-ups / 10 ring rows every time you walk into a room/ building?
Pull-ups because then that means my shoulder is strong enough to actually do them.
Heidi Frankmoelle
Heidi is one of our long-time members that’s been consistent at our 9 am class. Heidi is caring and genuinely cares about everyone around her. Heidi puts hard work into every class she attends. That combined with her consistency and positive attitude makes her a real MVP!

I’ve been a member for 9 1/2 yrs. What I like most are the coaches and the community.
2) What’s your favorite type of workout?
I’m not sure what my favorite type of workout is. I like having a variety of different combinations of lifts and cardio in our workouts.
3) What type of activities do you enjoy doing when you’re not at Armor?
Outside the gym I enjoy time with family and friends, travel, and reading.
4) If you’d always have to do either 20 lunges before walking anywhere, or always do 10 pull-ups / 10 ring rows every time you walk into a room/ building, which would you choose?
If I had to choose I would do ring rows, but the only place there are rings is at Armor.
